Keep your ExtraBrain session within reach. Control your Mac from your iPhone, or explore the sample session before pairing. Your ExtraBrain session, at your fingertips. ExtraBrain Controller is the iPhone companion controller for ExtraBrain on Mac. Keep session controls within reach while your Mac handles recording, screen capture, transcription, and AI responses. CONTROL YOUR SESSION Start or stop recording, request a screenshot or region capture, and trigger the actions supported by your Mac app. Audio and screen capture happen on the Mac, not the phone. ASK AND FOLLOW UP Send a question or quick action from your iPhone. Responses appear in ExtraBrain on your Mac. Available controls depend on your Mac app version and session state. ARRANGE YOUR WORKSPACE Switch profiles, show or hide the transcript panel, adjust the ExtraBrain window, and reorder controller cards to suit your workflow. PAIR WITH YOUR MAC Scan the Mac's pairing QR code and approve your phone on the Mac. Approved devices use an end-to-end encrypted connection, directly over a reachable Tailscale connection or through the configured relay. Tailscale is optional. EXPLORE BEFORE CONNECTING Try the built-in sample session without a Mac or camera permission. Sample controls use synthetic state on your phone; they do not record, capture, send questions, or generate AI responses. REQUIREMENTS Live control requires a compatible Mac running ExtraBrain with Phone Control enabled and approval of your iPhone on that Mac. Relay connections require internet access on both devices. Your Mac's selected AI and transcription services may have their own requirements or costs. The mobile controller has no ads or separate ExtraBrain account. Camera access is optional and used only to scan the pairing QR code. Use ExtraBrain in accordance with the rules of your workplace, school, meeting, or platform.
