The weather is getting cold, but these features are hot. Here's what's new in Eyefinity Encompass 7.12: • Edit finalized visits. You asked, we listened! One of our most requested updates is coming—you're now able to unfinalize and edit previous visits with ease.  • Save taps with smarter refractive documentation. Encompass now automatically documents not just refractive diagnoses but also counseling and follow-up plans. According to initial testing, this enhancement can save you up to 16 taps per visit.  • Access your schedule more easily. The agenda view in the iPad app now syncs to the current time, so you spend less time swiping, especially at the end of a busy day. To learn more about Eyefinity Encompass 7.12, tap the More action bar icon and select Help. Look for "Release Notes."

This optional update includes the following fixes: • Resolves a crash that sometimes occurred when users resumed a plan in the Detailed Visit Overview and selected a body location. • Resolves usability issues that occurred when users began recording an impression and plan in the Detailed Visit Overview and then resumed the impression within the Ocular Exam

This update includes the following enhancements and bug fixes: • Adds pinch and zoom functionality to the the Photo Gallery, enabling you to quickly zoom in and out of patient photos. • Resolves an issue that disabled the Finalize Available Notes button during the bulk finalization process. • Removes a superfluous Confirm button from the Impressions and Plans section of the Detailed Visit Overview for copied-forward exams.

This update resolves the following issues: • Fixes the color coding of the Vision Exam and Impressions & Plans sections in the Visit Overview when the exam was copied forward. Those sections will once a again display a green bar when the documentation is complete in those sections. • Fixes an error that occurred when users tapped an orange diagnosis code. The error incorrectly told users they were not logged in and then proceeded to log them out. Now, when you tap an orange diagnosis code, you can select the missing Level 2 diabetic code as expected.

This optional release includes the following bug fixes: • Restores the green bar functionality to the Vision Exam card in the visit overview. Now, when you document VAs, visual fields, pupils, motility, and IOP, the green bar once again appears alongside the Vision Exam card. • Addresses an issue in which a documented impression and plan no longer display on the visit overview after an exam is documented.

This release resolves an issue that caused the ePrescribe button to be inactive. Install this update to ensure you can e-prescribe medications.
