I am an almost 12 year old girl writing this review. This is so depressing. It’s sad honestly. I am a human being and I deserve privacy! This is violating everything! Parents, how would you like it if I went through all your messages and pictures and anything you do on your phone, and got to access it from mine? Am I some kind of animal in a zoo?!! Do you not trust me?! Am I bad kid?!? Now, the only privacy I have is pen and paper, and who knows you’re probably looking through that too. If you are a parent looking to download this for your kid, I hope you’re happy you are violating all of your trust you’ve built up with your kid. Now your kid has extreme trust issues, and they’ll never look at you the same again. :) like me. Human beings deserve the basic right to not think there’s someone watching you over your shoulder all the time. Creepy? And as you access all of your kids private stuff with a smile, just think about how your kid is feeling. Don’t even give the kid a phone at that point! Coming from a kid like me, please just don’t! Do you value your child’s mental well-being?
invasion of privacy
i am literally about to be 16 years old and my parents have a need to have this app? at this point it’s completely wrong to be looking over your teens shoulder who will be out of the house soon. this doesn’t make a kid teen or a kid trust their parent with anything. They can see my texts and pictures which i do not accept. i am paranoid about everything i do on my phone. at this point don’t even give a teenager a phone if you’re just going to have this app.. and the fact this app goes up all the way to the age of 18 is insane, by the time a kid hits at least the age 12-13 their parents should no longer be able to even be using this app on their phone and the fact they have my exact location and they go crazy whenever it says i’m somewhere else. and the some of the words that trigger the app is completely out of pocket..MOST of the words aren’t even bad to say yet it still alerts the app. boundaries and trust between teens and their parents are bound to be broken with this app.
My parents can’t delete it, it’s still tracking me
I see people leaving reviews who are younger and older than me.
This is not like any of the other reviews.
Two years ago, my mom downloaded this app and the parent app to my phone. After a little bit, she realized there was practically no use since I haven’t done anything suspicious. She told me she couldn’t delete it, and I tried-I couldn’t either. I deleted the parental connection, but the apps in use 14 hours of the day. I deleted it two years ago, and it has so much of my data. I have SS (screenshots) of all the permissions it asked (microphone, movement).
It wanted to track my movement, meaning how often I moved, basically the same stuff the fitness/health app does.
…why?
And it’s been two years, a year ago I turned off its location tracking permission. I don’t even know what it’s doing-it doesn’t block anything, or send my parents anything. It doesn’t let my parents or I delete it. What the heck?
I’m all for protecting your kids-but do it some other way.
The first time I checked it on the Apple Store, there was a handful of reviews-13, I think. Every review on here is a kid. If you’re reading this, try to warn people that this app is working 14 hours of the day for years.
I’m reporting it, btw (by the way).
