New: if you are left without a fleet, you can apply to another fleet from the app. When the live connection drops, the app tells you that no offers arrive until it is back. If you are signed out by force, the message explains why. The driver referral programme has ended. Notifications and ride offers are more reliable. Plus stability improvements.

New: an in-app notifications inbox. When your fleet uploads a document for you, it is marked "Uploaded by fleet X" and the notification takes you straight to it. When you cannot go online or take a ride (new terms, a retired car, no fleet), the app tells you why and what to do. Notifications and ride offers are more reliable. Plus stability improvements.

When uploading documents you can now enter the criminal-record certificate's issue date and the vehicle inspection (ITP) date. The terms acceptance screen has been improved. A new guide helps you let the app run in the background on your phone, so you don't miss rides. Crash reports no longer contain personal data.

The app now checks whether a newer version exists and asks you to update when needed. Fixes to the support assistant (conversations could not be ended and the keyboard covered the composer) and stability improvements.

The app now uses the car set as active on your account, not the first one registered. If you have registered cars but none is active, it asks you to pick one before uploading vehicle documents. Documents can no longer be uploaded against the wrong car.

You can finish sign-up without the Far sticker until you receive it; going online still requires every document, and the app tells you exactly what is missing. If the account on the phone changes, the ride shown stays with the right account. The verification photo no longer hangs on Android when the camera is not ready. Display and sign-in fixes.

Far is getting ready to launch. A "Coming soon" screen replaces ride controls until launch; registration, documents and verification status remain available. If the account on the phone changes, documents and forms no longer carry over to the new account. Going online is safe when tapped more than once. Display and sign-in fixes.

• New in-ride buttons: change destination, add a stop and start waiting — easier to reach. • Correct fare when the passenger ends the ride early. • Clearer receipts: rides that never happened are no longer shown as charged. • In-app calls: earpiece or speaker, your choice, with stable reconnects. • Notification when support replies. • We now request only the permissions the app actually uses. • New icon and small fixes.

You can now ask a person to confirm your identity instead of having your photos analysed automatically, and withdraw your consent to automatic analysis at any time from Settings.

"Stop here" — propose a quick stop right where you are, with one button, no address to type. "Continue trip" — a single press when the passenger returns: the waiting meter stops and you carry on to the next stop or the destination. Waiting time starts on its own as soon as the passenger accepts the stop. Address search works again for drivers. The fare is confirmed before departure. Referral programme: earn a bonus for every driver you bring in.
