Fax From iPhone - Receive Fax 4+

I can’t begin to recommend this app soon enough. I am writing this review as my fax is sending and the entire process was seamless. I have faxing capability in my HP printer but have been trying to send my document since yesterday evening with no success. I kept getting a “no answer” message. After contacting the company and asking them to verify if their fax was receiving messages and they confirming that it was, my only other option was to mail my verification documents to them. That’s when I remembered that a friend uses this app. Sure enough, in less than three minutes, from the time I downloaded the app to sending the fax on my iPhone, I received notification that my fax was received! Woohoo and thank you!

It does work well for the first two faces for free. Then I used it for a third fax which ended up taking a very long time to assemble within the app. They let you upload 2 pages and then in order to finish uploading the pages it asks you if you want to watch a video to upload more pages. So I answered yes. The videos are 30 seconds each for each page so my ten page document was close to five minutes to upload to the site. Once I was ready to send the document it prompts you to subscribe for $8/week or something like that. Very deceiving since they make you watch the videos but still charge you to actually send a fax. I used other apps which are less deceiving. I understand they need to make money too but kind of sleazy to make you watch videos that they get paid for and you watch understanding they get paid for us to watch, with no actual intention of providing the service for free for watching ads. Bait and switch. I wouldn’t trust a deliberately deceptive company with my credit card information. Good luck:)

EWIN for my once (or twice) a year FAXing need. A simple intuitive interface. Ability to (apparently) scan in real time or (as tested) FAX a PDF from my iCloud Drive. A quick 30 second ad to watch in exchange for their FAXing service. No subscription to cancel (seriously; thank you!). Encrypted transmission (until it hits the phone lines).

★ Full marks for this FAX app and service. I highly recommend it. ★

Wishlist: A FAX confirmation sheet that persists until dismissed, so I don’t have to go searching. Lest I be (once again) not quite quick enough on my phone’s screen capture buttons. No matter; already a five star app, as is. Color me well pleased.
