Would love to see more of these types of apps

Many people I meet at the nature center I work at would like to know more about this kind of information, but do not have the time to research it or get overwhelmed trying. This is something I can point them to. I look forward to seeing this app grow! Nicely done, IT UF-IFAS!

More Content Needed

I love the idea of this app but it does need some work. More pictures of plants, examples of gardens, or at the very least UF/IFAS extension garden centers where people could go see these plants first-hand would be helpful. Also, why not feature at least a PDF of the UF website plant database? I think that’s where this app suffers the most because when I want to know a plant, I just google ‘the plant name UF’ and generally more useful info comes up. In short, I would love this app to be the go-to place for info on Florida plants but it could use more pictures, better organized info, and utilize better the resources UF already has online.

Great idea, but needs tweaking

I find the search feature cumbersome. I set the app to filter for my zip code, and first searched by Florida natives. Pictures are good and helpful for example, to distinquish among viburnums. Noticed that no entries mention deer resistance, which would be a welcome tweak, especially in the flowers. Then I tried to search for podacarpus and still haven't found it. I tried on my own, then went to the Help and followed the directions there, but still just ended up with the list of 100+ plants and pics which didn't include podacarpus. So great start, but keep tweaking this.
