I really like this app!
I used it to diagnose a whistle sound in an air handling unit. It works quite well and I have told several other people about it. I use an iPhone 5 and when you take a screen shot and upload it to your computer, it looks very professional.
The other features are very nice, too. My only suggestion is to allow zooming in on the Hertz scale.
Underrated
I use this app when I'm performing the final tuning in car audio systems and I'm impressed with the response and resolution it has. It could be better if it supported external microphones such as ZOOM's XY and omni capsules but performs pretty reliably through the iPhone's internal microphone. And fairly accurate up against my ARC software in my recording studio studio. Well worth the money if you need a good FFT
Very nice FFT
The nicest thing about this analyzer is that it has the ability to recognize the particular microphone you have plugged in to your iPhone. I use a Shure MV88 stereo mic. That means that the application is calibrated for my particular microphone! I was able to quickly equalize my sound system and it sounds much better now.
