We've completely rebuilt Finding Beer from the ground up, delivering a faster, more reliable, and beautiful experience for discovering the best breweries wherever you go. This version includes the same general design but with a fresh new look. It also allows you to easily use single sign on to take advantage of keeping track of the breweries you visit.

The app is now faster! The main screens of the app should be a bit more responsive upon loading now.

The last release introduced some unfortunate visual quirks. This patch addresses some styling to make the experience like it was before.

This new version addresses bug fixes and makes it much easier to sign up for a new account. In addition, this version allows us to show you even more breweries than ever before with some key updates under the hood.

Each Guide now shows the the top metro areas for the region and it's stats. Also, you will not find a beer style guide in the more section with a description of each beer style and the notable beers for each section.

Added a beer category description for each beer. Also improved color accuracy for beer types.

Finally! Descriptions now appear whenever you click on a beer. You can read about the beer and then either view the brewery or link to an app commonly used for checking into beers. Separately, Guide and Brewery pages now show the percentage of beers in different quality categories instead of it's 0-5 point rating. This makes it a lot easier to understand what people think of the beer they are drinking overall from a specific brewery.

Added a Beer Rating Distribution and Brewery Locations for each region on the guide. There is also a new FAQ page and an easier way to contact us. Finally, a few visual improvements and bug fixes to finish off this release.

This release is loaded with UI improvements and some important new features: - Save what breweries you've had, liked, and visited. - Show these breweries on a map - New map view lets you see where all the red & purple pins are around the world

Each Guide now shows the top 10 new beers for each location. There is also a new list that tracks popular new beers so you know what hit the shelf and people are excited about.

- Breweries can now be filtered by the style you're looking for! For instance, if you are hankering for an IPA, you can show only the breweries on the map that brew them. The same goes for Sours, Stouts, Lagers, and Saisons. - We've deprecated the "Green" color coding in our algorithm as it was too confusing. This color was used when we had a limited amount of information to make a decision. For the most part, many of these breweries have so little activity that they aren't worth including in this app. However, we were also too liberally placing breweries in this "unknown" grouping and prevented some from having an accurate color sooner. Keep in mind, there is typically lots of rating volatility with newer breweries. - Fixed some bugs where the incorrect rating of a brewery was showing up in search. - We also made considerable improvements to our algorithm to address the over-inflation of some beer styles and the under-inflation of others. As a result this has showcased breweries that brew high quality lagers. Although this change has been rolled out over the last week, it's worth mentioning here.

The best of finding beer is now searchable! There are new filterable lists of top breweries, beers, metro areas, new breweries, and the top brewery lists by country and state. We also have over 20k breweries that are searchable worldwide. Bug fixes and other minor enhancements were numerous with this release.
