Finjectory calculates how much you can invest this month and shows which part of your portfolio should receive it. Living costs, loans, and a buffer are already subtracted.
Enter net income, living costs, loan payments, and a buffer. One figure remains: free cash. That is the amount to invest. Orders you have already assigned to a class come out of it. The rest is waiting to be split.
A split, not another spreadsheet
Balance toward target sends the still-unassigned cash to the classes furthest below the share you set. The target is measured against your portfolio plus this month’s free cash. Proportional splits the full amount to invest by your target weights, and shows what you have already ordered in each class.
A portfolio that does not treat a deposit as profit
Each month you enter class balances. You see the share, the gap versus your target, and the change from that class’s previous balance. The result — change minus deposit — appears only after you enter the deposit. A higher balance alone is not shown as a gain.
The budget behind the decision
Income, living costs, standing orders, and loans sit in one place. An investment order reduces free cash and lands in a class. A transfer does not reduce the amount to invest until you attach it to a living cost. If costs, loans, and the buffer exceed income, or investment orders exceed free cash, the app says so.
Your figures
Finjectory does not sign in to a bank, fetch quotes, or place orders. You enter the amounts. Currency and separators follow your device region. Entries sync through your private iCloud database across your devices.
Who it is for
For someone who each month splits a surplus across a few kinds of assets and wants to keep their own mix. You name the classes yourself — gold, stocks, bonds, or cash, for example.
