Fledgling: Memory Keeper

Say the moment, keep the story

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

You know the moment. Your daughter says something so funny, so completely her, that you think: I have to remember this. And two weeks later, it's gone. Fledgling exists for that moment. Just talk. Open the app, tap record, and tell the story the way you'd tell it to a friend — the mispronounced word, what the weather was like, how you laughed. Fledgling listens and turns your recording into a written story you can keep, reread, and share. Your words, made lasting Choose how each story is told: • In Your Words — keeps exactly what you said, just cleaned up and shaped • Warm & Simple — gentle and clear, perfect for reading aloud • Playful — bounces like the moment did • Literary — for the memories that deserve a little poetry • Society Column — purely for fun: dispatches from the desk of Lady Featherquill, society correspondent, who finds your toddler's dinner-table conduct most newsworthy Built for busy parents No blank page. No pressure to write. A thirty-second voice note in the school pickup line becomes a story worth keeping. Add photos, tag everyone in the moment — kids, grandma, even the dog — and group adventures into trips, and let "On This Day" resurface a moment from a year ago right when you need the reminder of why the hard days are worth it. Share with the people who ache to be there Grandparents don't want a like button — they want the story. Share any memory as a beautifully rendered image, PDF, or text, straight from the share sheet. Private by design Your family's memories live on your device and in your own iCloud — not on our servers. Your recordings never leave your device: transcription happens right on it, and only the transcript text is sent, transiently, to create your story — never stored by us. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data. Ever. This is your family's archive, and it belongs to you. Start today. The stories are already happening — Fledgling just helps you keep them. Fledgling is free to download, with a monthly allowance of stories. Membership (Standard or Family, monthly or annual) raises the monthly limit and unlocks every writing style; Family covers both parents through Apple Family Sharing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings.
