Turn photos into works. Organize photography projects, compare shots, document creative ideas and stay connected to your workspace on iPhone.
FocalRoom is a project workspace for photographic creators, bringing photo selection, comparison, research notes and artwork discussions to iPhone.
Organize photos around projects
Import photos from the system photo picker or files, and mark keeps, rejects and maybes locally. Examine details with side-by-side comparison to sort out the connections within a set of works.
Keep your creative process traceable
View workspace projects, version history and changes, preview how proposals affect the sequence of works, and adopt suggestions at your discretion. Save ideas and reference links in research notes, and adjust photo positions on the draft canvas.
Use Focal AI on your terms
Discuss creative ideas with AI via account services. Explicit authorization will be requested before photos are sent, and only derivative previews stripped of private metadata will be used. You judge AI suggestions and make the final photo selection decisions. AI availability depends on service status, email verification and account quota.
You control your original files and account
Original photos imported locally stay on your device; derivative previews and project information are uploaded when moved to the workspace. Cached content can be viewed offline, and local projects are exportable. Access is provided for sync status, device management and account data management.
Signing into a FocalRoom account and an internet connection are required to use workspace and online AI features. Please back up your original photos properly; offline content is subject to the data saved on your device.
