Want to focus better on what you're doing? Focus Time is a beautifully designed timer for people who want to avoid distractions and get more done.

LifeHacker: "Keeps You On-Task and Productive"

Want to eliminate the anxiety of time and enhance your focus and concentration?

The key is to apply yourself to tasks by working in units of 25 minutes, separated by short breaks of 5 minutes.

The steps are:

1. Choose a task to accomplish
2. Start timer
3. Work until timer rings
4. Take a short break
5. Every 4 session, take a longer break

Focus Time will automatically switch between the work timer and the long/short break timers, as well as counting the number of sessions you've completed. You can select an activity and see a graph of how you're spending your time.

Focus Time is also available on iPhone and iPad. It supports synchronization using either Dropbox or iCloud so you can see your achievements on all your devices!

If you'd prefer a screen clear of clutter, you can close the Focus Time window and use the menu bar timer instead to start/stop your timer or switch activities.

Sync does not work on MacOs Sierra

I’m struggling with the sync feature for syncing with ipad and iPhone. This app used to work on earlier MacOS versions but now it’s useless for syncing. Since it has been almost a year since an update, has the developer abandoned the application?

Stopped working

I mostly use the iPhone version of Focus Time, but fired up the Mac version today and...couldn't get it to work.

Wouldn't load, so uninstalled and reinstalled. Loaded once, but couldn't get it to sync with the iOS version.

Then it would just crash after that.

Mojave issue?

A love-hate relationship

I’ll start by saying that I love this app. It’s quite a rewarding feeling to look back and see what I accomplished for the day and the pomodoro method is excellent at keeping me focused and on point. And, even better, I like Focus Time’s interface and accessibility. However, I cannot get the apps to sync between my phone and my two computers (one work, one home). I’ve been using dropbox and have tried really everything I can think of. If I try to disable the dropbox sync and try iCloud, nothing happens. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, etc. The data is on my phone and Dropbox says it’s been updated everytime I sync from the phone. It just never makes the connection to either of my laptops. While this may seem like a small thing, it’s driving me nuts. Any suggestions/help would be much appreciated, since Focus Time’s support page has nothing in the way of contact.
