Excellent Productivity Tracker and Encouragement

I’ve been using this for about a week and it has been so helpful and motivational to see where I’m spending my time. I love the different projects and tasks. The charts it self generates are colorful and easy to understand. It makes me feel proud to see what I’ve accomplished. I wish there were a way to bulk export the raw data in spreadsheet form, just because I’m a bit of a data nerd and would love to run my own analyses on my productivity and time spent on certain activities. Also, I read someone else’s review and you can manually add in things that you forgot to start the Pomodoro for. You just have to go to the completed section and tap on the time that you want to add an event for. It’s easy to customize with different task lengths too (though I think no matter the time length you stretch it to, it will still only count as one Pomodoro in the averages and summary section). Five stars have already recommended it to all my friends and I’ll confidently recommend it to you too!

Same issues…several years later

Bought and paid a lifetime subscription. App is still the same…broken for my intents and purposes. Here is what I need: 1) Tasks under “today” to be custom sorted 2) The pomodoro estimated time to be based off of the pomodoro lengths and the breaks for the day. (It maybe is, but it might be off of past pomodoros…not sure) 3) Upcoming pomodoro lengths to be adjusted under the settings. Currently, I have to go into every single pomodoro. That way, I can quickly put tasks into my day, organize them and see how long they’ll take. If I need to adjust down the Pomodoro lengths to fit my schedule, then I should be able to easily. Then hit play and have the Pomodoros start and I just follow along for the 8 hours of work or whatever. Perhaps the length on some Pomodoros could be set…but I prefer that there is a Pomodoro length that gets set for the task…”Pull from settings” or “As Set” or something. Without these capabilities, this app is lost to me. One final thing. There appears to be a lot of connection or something going on with the pomodoro screen now. I get headaches from data transmission. Not sure what’s happening here, but please stop spying if that’s what it is. I never got headaches from the main screen before. I don’t even know what’s happening…is there data being transmitted or usage being pulled constantly now?

A few tips from someone who is OBSESSED

First, I really do love the app as is, but I also see how much potential it has for people who are struggling with ADHD, or any other focus based disorder. Big wins: gamification of task complete. This is huge for someone who gets distracted easily. We need something to come back to and be excited by. I love that you can use hashtags, although i wish that you could add a label to a task simply by adding a #label within the task description. That would be a HUGE win.

Second opportunity for growth I believe is the lack of interface options when it comes to your desktop version. I love that everything syncs, but wish it was more universal for UI and Ux. I love that you can filter based on so many different things, but I wish you could search for a task via a search bar. And last but not least, try marketing on tik tok. You have an amazing app that is so user friendly, but still complex and simple. 10/10. But I hope that you keep making improvements. Because it seems like it is 3 years behind while being so ahead and unique.
