FocusPets
Lock in on projects with pets!
Only for Mac
Free
Mac
Every minute you focus helps your pet grow – and it keeps you company in the Dynamic Island, on the Lock Screen and on your Mac. Start your first session in seconds.
Stay focused with a little pixel friend who grows with you.
FocusPets turns your focus time into a companion. Make a pet for something you're working on – a class, your thesis, a side project – start a focus session, and every minute you focus is added to that pet, forever. Focus more and it visibly transforms.
No account. No ads. No tracking. And nothing to lose – your pet never dies.
HOW IT WORKS
• Make a pet for a project and give it a name
• Tap once to start: 25, 50 or 90 minutes, a custom length, or open-ended
• Take a break whenever you need one – your pet waits for you
• Finish, and watch your time add up: new levels, new details, whole new forms
YOUR PET STAYS WITH YOU
• Dynamic Island and Lock Screen: your pet and your timer while you focus, with Pause and Finish one tap away
• StandBy, plus Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets with a one-tap start
• Control Center, the Action Button and Siri: "Start focusing with Mochi in FocusPets"
• On Mac: a pet floating above your windows, in the menu bar, or in a little island around the notch
• iCloud sync: start a session on your iPhone, finish it on your Mac
66 COMPANIONS TO GROW
• Classic Pets – fox, cat, capybara, panda, otter, penguin and more
• Spirits – tiny floating beings made for the Dynamic Island
• Heroes – original characters who earn their suits as you focus
• Fantasy – a baby dragon, a phoenix, a griffin and friends
• Mini Characters, Object Companions (yes, a coffee cup) and Deep Sea friends like the axolotl
• Secret Pets – nine companions you can't pick. You discover them through the way you focus.
CALM BY DESIGN
• Session lengths are gentle nudges, not hard stops – keep going or take a break
• Miss a day? Nothing breaks. After a week away, your pet simply welcomes you back
• 60+ achievements that reward healthy habits, not marathons
• Edit or delete any session – your history stays honest
• Ten illustrated scenes, from a cozy window at sunset to a moonlit city
GREAT FOR
