Foldeon

A little fold. A little folk.

$2.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

A pocket concertina, designed for iPhone Duo. Fold or drag to play, let Demo guide a tune, then learn the notes. Six songs, three voices, all included. A little fold. A little folk. Designed for iPhone Duo, Foldeon turns your fold into a warm, playful concertina. Hold both halves and gently open and close a little to bring the bellows to life. On other iPhones and iPads, drag the red bellows and hear the music respond to your movement. START WITH A TUNE Open Foldeon and Ode to Joy is ready in Demo. The app presses and highlights the melody notes for you. Move the bellows faster to play faster; stop moving to pause. Choose another tune whenever you like. THEN LEARN IT Tap Learn it to play the highlighted notes yourself. Each correct note advances the melody when the bellows are moving. There is no countdown and no score—just you and the tune. MAKE YOUR OWN MUSIC Play pearl keys, build a chord with Hold notes, and move the bellows with a free finger. Explore Pentatonic, C major and G major layouts, or try different notes on the push and pull. THREE VOICES, TWO FINISHES Enjoy warm Concertina reeds, a buzzy Kazoo or a musical Duck. Choose the rich Heirloom finish or the lighter Ghost finish. PLAY ON YOUR DEVICE • iPhone Duo: move the fold to control the bellows. Demo plays the melody notes for you, leaving your hands free to hold the device. Fold it shut and keep playing on the outer screen with touch bellows. • iPhone: play in portrait or landscape and drag the touch bellows. • iPad: enjoy a larger instrument with the same touch controls. • Sound only: play without bellows movement, including a steady-tempo song demo. SIX FAMILIAR MELODIES Ode to Joy, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Frère Jacques, When the Saints Go Marching In, Drunken Sailor and Scarborough Fair. Everything is included in one purchase. No subscriptions, in-app purchases, accounts, ads or tracking. All sounds and songs are bundled, so Foldeon works offline. Requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. Hinge input requires iPhone Duo with iOS 27.1 or later. Sound plays through Silent Mode.
