Found this a few months ago as a replacement app to fill in for the recent shortcomings of my other 2 favorites which have yet to be updated or may never be. I've yet to encounter a file type Folder Plus can't transfer. And with huge support with other apps using "Open With...", there doesn't appear to be anything it can't manage. Now if it would only support Bluetooth for file transfers from iOS to MacBook Pro when I'm in places without connectivity, it would be perfect.

This app epitomizes efficiency and practicality. It has become my go to app for many different things. If you have more than one cloud storage accounts, this app easily allows you to access all of them from a central hub. It can take and store photos and videos. It can record and store audio. It can store any file type you throw at it. It can play video files and in my opinion, does a much better job doing it than the built in iOS Videos app. When one video ends, the next one begins immediately. Which is great when you've got hundreds of short video clips to go through. It's great to use as a go between if you're converting files through another app. You can make zip files and passcode lock them if you choose. Allows you the option to transfer files to and from the app via your local network. And it allows you to enable wifi authentication by setting a user name and password combination if you're working on an unsecured public network. And transferring files to and from your desktop is made super fast and easy via usb connection. You can even draw a picture with the built in drawing tool. File Manager/ Folder Plus has so many great features, it would be impossible for me to list them all. This app has essentially eliminated any issues I've ever had keeping track of all my important stuff. I can't think of one single aspect of this app that I don't like. It truly is a rare and flawless gem that you will be glad you found. I would personally like to say thank you to the developer for making what had become an almost impossible task of managing all my files quick and painless once again. You have saved me time, money and spared me from the frustration I had been enduring for a long time. If all things made this much sense, the world would be a much better place. This is without a doubt the best purchase I have ever made from the App Store.

I got an iPad for medical school. It seemed reasonable to have something portable, quick and computer like for the classroom, wards and clinics. iPad is worthless without Folders Plus! I have to rely on third party apps for usability the chief one being Folders Plus. Why does Apple think isn't shouldn't be possible to create folders containing many types on documents??My iPad would be useless with Folders Plus. I am able to sync this folder to my computer and drop in non Mac compatible files to it without needing to deal with iTunes or Apple' fear of competition BS. I have my physiology notes as annotated PDFs, my class/clinic notes as word files, images and webpage documents all neatly organized and easily accessible. I can save documents directly from the internet into it and have backed up personal travel documents into it as well. My medical school career has been so greatly improved by this app that I can't even praise it enough!!!

I had purchased many apps for file organizing before, but have not been satisfied with any of them for various reasons. This app makes it so "familiar" to store files....it is just like working on your computer. It is super responsive and I am able to view any of my files within seconds of tapping on it. Also, by hooking up my iPad to my desktop with a sub cord, I can easily drag folders from anywhere on my computer hard drive to my iPad- very easy! (You need to install the desktop version of this app which is free and simple to do). I recommend this app to anyone who needs to ha have a heir files on the go without relying on download speeds for cloud access to files.
