Photograph a receipt; Folio reads it on your iPhone and you confirm it. Nothing is uploaded — no account, and no server that ever sees what you spend. Tax season without a shoebox. Folio turns a photograph of a receipt into a line in your books in a few seconds, without sending it anywhere. Merchant, date, total, tax and a category are read on your iPhone itself — and then you confirm, because a scanner that quietly files things you never checked is not saving you work. It is moving the mistake. YOUR RECEIPTS NEVER LEAVE YOUR PHONE There is no account to create and nothing is uploaded. The app talks to one server, and only ever to ask it for public information: how receipts are printed in different countries, the day's exchange rates, and the minimum supported version. There is no endpoint anywhere that accepts a receipt, an amount, a merchant name or an image. No analytics. No advertising. No tracking of any kind.
