Close my account

Due to me trying to pay off my balance and my payment was returned twice. Still do not know why the money sat in my account for two weeks. I was charged a late fee, and then I made a third payment of just $500. After about two weeks of waiting to see if I would have an available balance it was still $0. I called customer service and they told me my account was on hold due to suspicious payment activity. So not only does this company not want your money for your payment they penalize you for making your payments. After being told my account was under review just for simply trying to pay the card off I told customer service to close my account. I am not going to go through rejected payments, and also be punished when the money was in my account for two weeks but the payment got returned twice. I do not have any issues paying anything else from this account it has only been this payment I have had issues with. I will not be doing business with this credit card company ever again. Good luck to anyone who chooses this credit card. Keep an eye on your payments and make sure they post to your account. If it is taking to long to have available credit something is wrong and you should call customer service. Customer service has always been helpful, just have issues when it comes to making payments and using the credit.

Don’t bother with this card

I almost never leave reviews but this has seriously got me upset. I got this card as a way to get my credit up. I missed one payment by 3 days and they are calling me at work. Never attempted my cell phone. Then I went to make the payment right after I hung up with them and I did and then I also scheduled my next payment as not to miss it and they took it out of my bank account immediately. I reached out and they told me “you can’t schedule payments with debit cards because they’re real time”. I schedule payments with my debit card all the time. Then I said okay well then can you please cancel the second payment. They told me they can’t cancel debit card payments because they are real time. I’m sorry what?? I’ve had payments cancelled from my debit card before. I will be paying this off and cancelling it. Will probably hurt my credit to cancel it but lesson learned. I’ll stick with my capital one card and let them give me an increase instead!!

Wasn’t bad at first…

I got this card to help my credit and I have had it for a little over a year now. Everything was fine.. I had my monthly payments automatically drafted each month and the app was easy to navigate. Well… I haven’t used the card in about three months and wanted to check my balance on the app and nothing happens. It won’t open up to the login page. It sits on the name “Fortiva” and that’s it. There is nothing to click or no updates needed. My payment came out this morning and I know it should be paid off soon. I was thinking one more Payment. When I call customer service or try the number on back of card to check my balance I get a message saying that they are experiencing technical difficulties. I call it a load of crap if you want me to be honest! I will make one more payment and I’m going to have to contact my bank to put a block on it because I have a feeling they will keep taking out this monthly payment even if my card is paid in full. I will just stick with my capital one and my USAA card from now on.
