SEARCH BY MEANING Foxlore combines semantic and keyword search, so "that recipe with the salty caramel" finds your miso caramel note even if you never wrote those words. Tap once to find notes similar to the one you're reading — no query needed. Images are understood too: on-device AI describes your attached pictures so they're searchable by what's in them. AI THAT STAYS HOME Every AI feature — search, image understanding, note summaries — runs entirely on your Mac or iPhone using Apple's MLX framework and Apple Intelligence. No API calls. Your notes are never someone else's training data. A REAL WRITING TOOL Full markdown with live rich-text editing, beautiful math equations, syntax-highlighted code, tables, callouts, and inline images. Link notes to each other and follow backlinks. Attach calendar events, locations, and voice memos — recordings are transcribed on-device and become searchable. GENUINELY PRIVATE Lock any tag behind Face ID or Touch ID — locked notes stay hidden from search, summaries, and prying eyes, and a privacy screen covers them in the App Switcher. Optional iCloud sync keeps your Mac and iPhone together, end-to-end encrypted through your own account. Analytics and crash reports are off by default, opt-in only, and never include your content.
