Make these furry creatures sing with a pinch (or use the hinge if you have an iPhone Duo), then play famous songs or improvise with a real-time vocal instrument. Furry Opera puts an unusual opera company at your fingertips: four furry creatures, each with a voice of its own. Open the phone (if you have an iPhone Duo) or pinch the mouth open and let it sing. Shape a soaring aria, improvise and record melodies, or pause to stroke your performer’s fur. Every voice is generated live through physical modelling synthesis. A simulated vocal source and resonating vocal tract create an expressive, human-like sound that responds continuously to your gestures. CONTROL THE VOICE Spread two fingers to open the creature’s mouth, then pinch them together to close it. You can also tap once to open or close the mouth. Tilt your device to explore pitch and shape your performance through touch.evice. TWO WAYS TO PERFORM • Song Mode: Perform over 30 melodies spanning opera, classical music, traditional favourites and children’s songs. From Mozart and Bizet to Verdi and Puccini, the creature follows the notes while you control the timing, phrasing and expression. • Free Mode: Create your own melodies. Tilt to change pitch and shape the voice with your gestures. With Pro, adjust the octave range to suit your performance. FOUR FURRY PERFORMERS Meet four creatures with distinct voices, vocal registers and personalities. All of them are very furry and love be stroked and petted.
