Description

Take command of your Dungeons & Dragons game with Game Master 5th Edition. This DM tool makes building a campaign easy and takes a lot of the hassle of out of running a game so that you can focus on more important things.

Combat Tracker. Roll initiative, track hit points and conditions, view monster stat blocks, and roll attacks, all in an easy to use interface. No need to flip through the Monster Manual or roll and add up a bunch of dice. You’ll be able to leave your books at home because Game Master has what you’ll need.

Encounter Builder. Quickly put together an encounter, including one with randomly generated enemies. The encounter analyzer calculates the difficulty so that you won’t accidentally TPK the party.

Creature Builder/Scaler. Easily create a new creature or modify an one. Specify a few stats, such as challenge rating, ability scores, hit dice, etc… and the app will auto generate the rest of the numbers and text for you.

DM Screen. The rules reference view lets you quickly look up rules, tables, etc. This view is completely customizable and can even include links to external websites.

Campaign Manager. Split your campaign into adventures, each with their own sets of characters and encounters. Also keep notes and a treasure items that you can send out to your players.

Dice Roller. All of your stats and attacks can be rolled with a tap of a button. Also included is dice calculator that allows you to input a custom roll. Need to roll 1d20 + 6d9 + Constitution modifier? Game Master has what you need.

Compendium. A customizable compendium of content that by default includes all of the races, classes, backgrounds, feats, equipment, spells, and the monsters from the System Reference Document 5.1. This does not contain all of the official content from the books so you'll have to input any missing. To make adding easier, there is an Import feature through which you can type/copy content on your PC then transfer the file into the compendium. Fan made files are also available for download, so search online.

Fight Club Integration. Players using the Fight Club 5th Edition app can send their characters to you in the form of an importable file so you can quickly include them in any campaign.

Compatibility. This app is designed to be played with D&D 5e, but many elements of it can be used for other tabletop RPGs, such as D&D 3.5e and Pathfinder RPG. And of course, because everything can be completely customized, any homebrewed content is also possible.

Premium Version. The app is free to download, but you are limited creating a single campaign with one adventure and up to three encounters. Upgrading to the premium version with the in-app purchase will remove these restrictions.

Excellent

I use this quite a bit, and would suggest and RPG player to get it! I have the free version, but the full version would be very useful. I have already made my own items and full campaigns using this, and the encounter tracker is so useful. There are many other features that deserve a spotlight, but I’m going to move on to some things I’d change.
1: You can’t add a player character to encounters
2: If you don’t name an encounter or campaign or anything else it shows up as an invisible spot, so you have to name it.
3: Having a guidebook would be very nice, especially for some of the more complex features, maybe a small tutorial to guide you through the beautiful interface and useful in-app tools.
Otherwise, this app has a beautiful simplistic interface and works very smoothly on my phone, has SSOO many useful features to help out DMs, and I would highly recommend getting it. Keep in mind it does not have a grid, you can’t add the players(at least in the free version) and you will find yourself planning ahead in your campaign for months :)

Good but please fix exports/imports

I like this app so far despite that I'm new I've seen videos and good reviews on game master and fight club apps and i think they are good apps and so far for me they are good apps but weirdly enough i keep getting this issue when exporting and importing files and its weird i cant tell if its intentional or if its buggy but i transferred one character and their spells weren't added. Plus other stuff but I cant remember now. Another issue is i have adobe acrobat and I'm easily able to read the character sheet pdfs yet the one you get from making a character in fight club doesn't actually work. Its a bit buggy and shows that i have saving throws and other stuff but not actual showing what the stats are.
Example: Saving throws (Blank box) just says saving throw.
It occasionally works and shows some of the stats but its only getting worse. If possible can u guys fix export/imports?

P.S. Mainly applies to player characters from fight club and fight club character sheets (the one u turn into a pdf). Backup systems good. Its saved my backups i dont know if characters are good on that or just as broken but thats on the same app so it most likely works and thats not import. But good tho. Im mainly having issues with Exports/imports backups are fine. And the app itself is great! So keep up the great work! Big thumbs up from me I'm even considering on getting premium. :)

Most useful app

My children and I just started playing 5th edition (I played some D&D back in the day: Basic set, dabbled with AD&D, missed 2nd, 3rd, and 3.5, then fiddled with 4th edition). Fifth edition has been quite interesting and fun so far, and this app has been invaluable. We are working our way through "Lost Mine of Phandelver" and GameMaster has truly facilitated all the encounters with appropriate details with initiative order, turn/round management, HP and condition tracking, etc. (I have one feature request: is it possible to allow for customized conditions incurred during combat?) This app eliminates a good amount of the tedium for a DM. Dice rolling features are convenient, though we prefer the tactile experience of real dice -- nothing like the excitement of rolling a natural 20. Very useful to be able to import and export data and customize the compendium. This helped me homebrew a few things like spells and monsters. Great app that will streamline and enhance your game.
