DOES NOT WORK. DO NOT BUY

This is the first app that I'm actually requesting a refund on.
So, I did as instructed and downloaded and installed the driver for my Xbox One controller (wireless). Upon reboot, I was able to assign some keys, but not all. It ignored L2 and R2. Fine, I still gave it a shot. Inside the game, if I pressed forward ( I had assigned it to "w"), my charachter would jitter forward, then stop completley. What the heck?! It just stopped working.
More problems: when the app becomes active, I lose control of my mouse! It's ok, becase I was able to command tab back into this terrible app and quit out of it.
Next problem: You can't assign key combos. You want a button to be Command Shift? Too bad. You want to assign a button to Page down, but you have to press Fn down arrow on your Macbook to do it? TOO BAD.
Did they even test this app? DO NOT BUY!

Echoing other reviews

It works and is convenient for remapping a controller (I'm using an xbox series x controller for Anki).

The "add ons" are priced in an extremely predatory manner and you have to purchase specific controller compatabilities and even combination key presses. Credit to the developer for having a working, fairly straight forward keymapping app that doesn't make you guess which button numbers correspond to the buttons on your controller.

But if I ever saw him in the street, I would probably want to be very directly and impactfully demonstrate some frustration at being nickeled and dimed. I would have happily paid a flat $10 or even $15 or so for the app, but it's $6 to download, $3 for a specific controller, and then $3 each for volume control, brightness control, and combo key presses (like cmd z to undo). Pretty shameless.

Even worse now

First I made a purchase that didnʻt even reflect in the app, but because iʻm desperate for a solution i made a SECOND purchse of the same add-on, this time the purchase showing that it went through, HOWEVER—now that I made my SECOND purchase, the add-on doesnʻt even work. It did during the free-trial mode and now it doesnʻt work at ALL after purchasing the proper add-on (switch controller add-on, which is both what is being detected AND what the error message showed when the trial ran out so i know i didnʻt purchase the wrong add-on. Just stay away from this whole thing. They would make more money just selling full entire access for $10-$15
