Description
An entire museum dedicated to horticulture - the only one of its kind in the whole of Germany. The building and the location of the German Horticultural Museum are also unique: a fortress complex in the former egapark horticultural show grounds on one of the city's two hills. But horticulture is worth being celebrated! Because for thousands of years, man has succeeded in securing food and producing a wide variety of products through the wise use of plants and soil. Exhibitions and workshops at the museum provide insights into the secrets of the garden and plant world.
The app provides you with all necessary information about your visit, exhibitions, event rooms for hire and current events from the comfort of your own home. Once you are actually on-site, you can use the various adventure tours in the app to explore all the exhibition rooms and additional contents. Where do my vegetables come from and why are trees so important in cities? At the end of the exhibition tour, you can test your knowledge in a quiz. Highlight: For fortress fans, there is a separate tour of the Cyriaksburg.
