GeekScan is a fast, offline-first tool for barcode scanning, text recognition, and barcode generation, designed for geek users who prefer precision, control, and structured data handling.
It runs entirely on-device with no internet required, no tracking, and no ads.
It supports scanning QR, Aztec, Data Matrix, PDF417, Micro QR, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-E, ITF, GS1 DataBar series, and MSI Plessey, with additional formats depending on system detection.
You can also generate QR, Aztec, PDF417, Data Matrix, Micro QR, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-E, ITF, MSI, and GS1 DataBar family barcodes.
Text recognition runs fully offline and supports multiple languages, including English (US), Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Thai, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
All results are stored locally for quick access and reuse.
