GemEcho is a real-time pattern echo game. Gems light up one by one in a continuous sequence — your job is to tap each gem as it was highlighted, always chasing the pattern from behind. The speed increases every 10 correct taps, pushing you closer to the edge. No memorization phase, no pauses — just you versus an accelerating pattern.
FOUR GAME MODES
- Stage: Pick from 12 handcrafted stages and play until you run out of lives.
- Random: Jump into a random stage at your chosen difficulty.
- Tournament: Battle through 3, 6, or 12 stages in sequence with a combined score. Modifiers carry across stages.
- Survival: Infinite lives, rising speed. Play until you can't keep up.
12 UNIQUE STAGES
From the Dark Forest to Neon City, each stage has a different gem layout and visual hazard. Frost delays your taps. Decoy gems flash alongside the real pattern. Gems fade, drift, shift colors, or strobe to throw you off. Every stage plays differently.
16 MODIFIERS — BUILD YOUR RUN
Every 10 correct taps, choose from 3 random modifiers across four categories: Speed, Scoring, Survival, and Chaos. Stack Slow Motion with Score Echo for safe points. Go all-in with Glass Cannon and Speed Demon for massive risk-reward. Activate Invisible Mode to hide every gem for double score. Each run becomes a unique build.
DAILY CHALLENGE
One stage, one difficulty, the same pattern for every player worldwide. Compete daily and build your streak.
3 DIFFICULTY TIERS
- Easy: 3 lives, relaxed speed.
- Normal: 2 lives, moderate speed.
- Hard: 1 life, fast speed.
15 ACHIEVEMENTS & STAR RATINGS
Earn up to 3 stars per stage per difficulty (108 stars total). Unlock achievements for streaks, milestones, and mastering hard mode.
CUSTOMIZATION
Personalize your game with 4 gem skins (Classic, Neon, Crystal, Retro) and 5 UI themes (Midnight, Crimson, Emerald, Ocean, Solar).
RETRO PIXEL AESTHETIC
CRT scanlines, pixel fonts, animated gradients, and synthesized ambient chiptune music. GemEcho looks and sounds like a game from another era.
