Gemel
Calories & protein, on pace
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
Track calories and protein in seconds.
Gemel tracks the two numbers that matter, calories and protein, and paces them through your day, so you always know whether you're on track while there's still time to fix it. No food database, no account, no feed.
A TARGET THAT MOVES WITH YOUR DAY
A daily number is only useful if you know how much of it you were meant to have used by now. Gemel draws a pace line that climbs from the hour you wake to the hour you turn in, so a number at 2pm reads as ahead or behind, not just as a number. Cutting or building: your calorie number is a ceiling or a floor, and the words change to match.
SECONDS, NOT A FOOD DIARY
The fastest way to log a meal is to type the number you already know. Your usual amounts are one tap, ranked by what you reach for and when. Anything else, the pad adds up as you type, with the running total in view. Log from the Lock Screen, Control Center, the Action button, your Apple Watch or Siri without opening the app. No barcode scanner, on purpose.
DIFFERENT GOALS, SAME STREAK
Pair with a friend and you start a second streak, one that only continues on days you both hit your goals. She's cutting, you're building; neither of you sees the other's figures, only whether today was hit. One person per pairing, as many pairings as you like.
GEMELS
A day where both bars cap is a gemel. Streaks, comebacks and awards build from there, on your own and with each friend.

Ratings & Reviews

Streaks now show on your calendars. Every day you hit a target gets a border — violet for calories, green for protein, both on a gemel day — and days in a row are joined by a line. You'll see it in History, yours and each pair's, on the Gemels cards, and on the large Today widget; on a pair's calendar, a day only counts when you both hit. A full week of calorie or protein hits now marks its week in violet or green, too.
The day-end recap no longer sits on top of Undo: log something while it's showing and it steps aside, so Undo is right there.
Fixed a crash in the background that could stop your widgets and watch face updating while Gemel was closed.
