Really useful service, app needs some work though
I’ve been a Genspark subscriber for many many months now (maybe even a year?). Mixture of Agents feature has been awesome, and they dropped deep research and fact check way before I got it in GPT (which I also pay for. And Perplexity). They’re constantly adding BIG new features, at a shockingly impressive speed.
Like other reviews say though, the credit system is very opaque and unclear. I just set up the Call for Me feature, and I think their own test call to me consumed a ton of my credits. I kept talking to the assistant asking it questions about the feature, not knowing it would use credits. Only later when coming back to try doing another test, did it point out that test calls consume credits. I don’t know why it’s so difficult to have credits clearly displayed at all times, along with how many credits a given action will use when you’re about to use it.
If I’m rating the Genspark service, it’s 4 stars… held back only by the opaque credit system.
If I’m rating the app, it’s 3 stars because it is a bit clunky, elements often being abnormally large (i.e. model selection drop-down in chat), wonky UI squishing when opening keyboard, etc. But those are all growing pains that can be addressed.
Credits system needs to be more clear.
I just tried using the Basic AI Chatbot yesterday, but I ran out of credits to use after just 5-10 uses.
There is no indication within the app for how many credits you get, nor how often they will be replenished.
Having an option for people to buy additional credit packs would be a nice feature for people who actually need more than 5-10 iterations to accomplish useful day-to-day tasks.

I work with Ai daily, I’ve tried almost every Ai tool known to man…& this is one of the top products I recommend to my colleagues & friends. It has everything…it DOES everything.
