APP FEATURES
Press for a call:
Press the button once to receive an automated call that sounds like a real person who gives you an easy excuse to leave. Choose from multiple call scripts featuring male-identifying and female-identifying voices.
Hold for a friend:
Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to send a group text with your location to 5 pre-selected friends, asking them to call and check-in with you.
Connect with 911:
Enable this optional feature and Flare will share your name, phone number, and live location with 911 dispatchers in addition to your friends. A dispatcher will call and text you. If you can’t talk, 911 will still send first responders to your location.

Previously:
• Updated to comply with Apple policies.
• Flare can now call and text you from one of 10 different phone numbers.
• Existing users should delete their existing Flare contact, then tap the “Add Flare to Contacts” card on the Home screen to download the new phone numbers.
• Under Settings, you can change between these new phone numbers at any time. If your phone or service provider is blocking communications from Flare, changing it to a different one may help.
• The name of the screen you are on is now shown at the top.
• Minor layout adjustments to improve readability.

Mixed Feelings
I ordered one which works great. I liked it so much I ordered another one in a different style so I could change the bracelet depending on the occasion. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the second one to work so they sent a replacement. That one didn’t work either so I returned it for a refund. The refund was promptly processed which is great. If you have a problem u have to fill out a form and you get a stock email reply. There really isn’t a live customer service call center. I did finally come across a telephone # which I called and left a message but no call back. I am happy with the first one I got which works great.
Pretty good
Would be really nice to have the option to import my own voice memo to use for the fake call, that way I could make it much more realistic for myself
Got a replacement and still won’t work
When I first ordered the setup was super easy and it worked every time I did the fake phone call, but after a month it took a few tries to get the fake phone call. Then it eventually stopped working completely. After 2 weeks of going back and forth with customer service through email I got a replacement and it connected to the app but won’t send out the texts to my “crew” or send me a phone call. I’ve uninstalled the app 3 times and tested out all their phone numbers but still nothing.
