GetGrip takes the guesswork out of cross-country skiing preparation. Instead of checking multiple weather sources and consulting wax charts, get instant, accurate grip wax and klister recommendations tailored to your exact conditions.
HOW IT WORKS
Simply open the app and GetGrip automatically fetches 10 days of historical weather data at your location, analyzes snow conditions to determine one of nine snow types, and delivers multiple wax recommendations from 28 Swix products in the V, VP, K, KX, and KN series. Everything is presented in a beautiful, easy-to-scroll interface.
FLEXIBLE AND POWERFUL
While automatic recommendations work great, you're always in control. Override temperature manually for fine-tuning, change snow type based on your observations, or search and select different locations on the map to plan ahead for cabin trips or race day.
BEAUTIFUL DESIGN
Clean, intuitive interface that shows exactly what you need. Gorgeous visualizations of waxes and klisters with dark mode support for low-light conditions. Smooth haptic feedback as you scroll, and toggle individual products on or off to match your wax kit.
BUILT FOR SKIERS, BY SKIERS
No ads. Works completely offline once data is loaded. Location access is optional because your privacy matters. No tracking or data collection. Family Sharing enabled so one subscription covers your household.
Note: Currently supports Celsius only. Swix V, VP, K, KX, and KN series waxes and klisters.
GetGrip requires a subscription after a 14-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Account Settings.
