A good choice
Cannot register
Unfortunately they do not accept my USA-issued driving license: they say that it is only usable within the USA because it is a particular class of license from the issuing state. This is not true, however; I have rented cars in Malta and other countries (both EU and non-EU) using this license, with companies large & small. GoTo is actually the only company I've been unsuccessful with so far. The issuing state's own web sites also clarify the meaning of license classes, but GoTo seems limited in its due diligence capabilities. I also have a valid license from another (non-English) country, which they say they cannot accept unless it is translated to English by a "licensed translator". I find this ridiculous, coming from what appears to be a technology company: just use translation templates for foreign countries' (non-English) licenses to extract the relevant info. You do not need a licensed translator to work on every individual license as the formats of licenses don't generally change over long periods of time. Only names, dates, IDs and addresses change, and these are easy to extract. Obligatory 1 star until I either get an alternative license and try (and really love) this app, or their registration process improves and addresses my case, ideally with some concession for the lost time.
