Thank goodness for Groove!! ❤️ As a business owner, mom of two, and epic extrovert, I’ve found that I need to be intentional about how I create accountability and where I incorporate “weak tie” conversations into my day (without letting those take over my energy and focus).
Groove's virtual coworking means I’m tapped into the best of both worlds—quick friendly check-ins with a community of increasingly familiar faces, plus dedicated blocks of time—and the accountability factor of checking in at the end. This is a game-changer to build in that “just right” level of support for a remote workday and keep me motivated for those household tasks that otherwise feel like a drag (hello, evening laundry Groove).
Secretly the best community out there
I've been a fan of coworking since I learned it about it 2010. I've worked out of hundreds of spaces around the world. But with many of them, one major thing was usually missing: Community. I've really gotten into Groove because it has genuinely awesome, supportive and creative community, is completely on demand (I can join or start Grooves at any time), and is mostly camera off. Groove makes getting things done a whole lot easier because the community is SO encouraging.
Easily Distracted Guy Cleans Apartment
I use groove for everything, but honestly I’ve been using it mostly to clean. Cleaning is usually the last thing that gets done in my life, and usually only when absolutely necessary. Now though, I look forward to not just cleaning my previous mess but giving more order to my living space because I'm doing it under this banner of a real accomplishment with others. Of course I use Groove for other things as well. As an ADHD posterboy it has been a Godsend!
