Description

Create good habits. Break bad ones. Build a better you. Habit List includes everything you need to reach your goals, wrapped in a beautiful and intuitive interface. It motivates you, helps you stay focused, and keeps you on track.

Get motivated with streaks — Keeping streaks alive is a powerful motivator. See how high you can go, then try to beat your personal best. Red badges mean you've slacked and need to get back on track. Yellow badges show up after a streak ends, indicating it's time to recommit to building a new one. Gray badges are optional, missing them won’t break your streak. Green means go, complete it today!

Focus on what’s due — No need to wade through all your habits to figure out what to do, Habit List only shows what’s due today. And you can set the default order for your habits, so items that you’ll complete first are at the top of your list. Habit List's beautiful, distraction-free design keeps you focused and on task.

Stay on track with reminders and badges — Habits are powerful because they’re automatic, but while you’re building routines, reminders are indispensable. App badges show the number of remaining habits for the day, great for reminding you to complete your list. You can even set a daily review reminder to get in the habit of using the app.

View trends over time — Step back and see the big picture with weekly and monthly completion percentages. Bar colors range from green to red and give a visual indicator of how you’re doing.

Flexible scheduling — Choose from 3 kinds of schedules: Specific Days, Non-specific Days, or Intervals. So you can schedule your workouts M-W-F, bring lunch to work any 4 days per week, or write a blog post every 2-3 days. No matter what kind of habit you're building, Habit List has you covered.

Track your progress — See your history at a glance and gain insight into what's working—or isn't. Always miss your Friday workout? Maybe a different day or early morning routine would work better. Habit List also tracks your personal best (longest streak) and total completions.

No detail too small — Need to track multiple times per day habits, like drinking 8 glasses of water? No problem. Going on vacation? Skip habits without breaking your streak. Miss a habit early in the day? Mark it as missed to keep your list uncluttered. You can also change the week start date, use light or dark mode, and keep things private with a passcode or touch ID. Speaking of privacy, we don’t require you to set up an account, don’t track your habits, and your personal data is 100% private.

Try Habit List for free — Your first three habits are on us. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited habits, passcode/touch ID lock, dark mode, and support future development.

Great app!—One complaint

I've eyed this app for a very long time, and downloaded it right away once I saw it had gone freemium. I love that it shows me, simply and immediately, how long it's been since I last checked off a due habit. I also appreciate that despite the very simple interface, there is still a way to see a calendar of your checked off habits, look at stats, etc. I went ahead and bought the full app because I love being able to simply open the app and immediately see what habits are left for the day; no muss, no fuss.

That being said: I wish it was easier to see/track habits that aren't due that particular day. For example—if something is scheduled for once per week or every 10 days or whatever, and the due date hasn’t rolled around yet, but you go ahead and do it on a different day, or do it a couple of days instead of just once, it's really inconvenient to tap the arrow, then the habit list, THEN the habit you want to check off. (Not to mention if you did the habit early and it’s not on the Today screen yet, it can be easy to forget to log that you did it at all.)

If there was an option to display habits not currently due, or just a quicker way to get to the calendar view for each habit, that would be ideal.

Excellent app! Just one issue

This is a great and elegant little app, and one of the only I’ve found that allows you to track habits due every X number of days. It also allows you to add counters to individual habits, so you can tally your progress towards completing a habit for that day. (So you can see you’ve taken 2/3 of your walks for the day before checking off your Walk habit, for example.)

My only complaint is that it is very easy to miss the small buttons for checking off a habit or (especially) changing its counter, and then you accidentally open up the calendar for that habit instead. This calendar is the function I use the least often, and yet I often accidentally open it, especially when trying to tap the small counter buttons. I would prefer it if the calendar were opened by a long press, or if the other buttons were made bigger, to avoid this sometimes frustrating issue. This app would easily be five stars for me if that were changed.

Not bad...🙂

I have a few suggestions though...
First off I am all about staying on task and this is why I like this app so much. The only problem I have, is that I’m not rich, so I can’t get premium ... So, I just wanted to ask if the people who aren’t getting premium like me, are going to be able to at least have 5 habits instead of 3... because only having 3 is kinda lame... Also (I don’t really care if you add this to premium) can you make it so you can change the sound of the notifications? I feel like people would enjoy that. Anyway, hope you all read this; it is a really good and simple app that could use my advice and be the best app ever!!😉
