Ratings and Reviews
Best I’ve found
This hacker news app has most of the features I care about. Open graph previews, performance, and a very readable, dense, thread view. It’s also important to me that I can see the top comments before tapping the article. The only things on my wishlist are some sort of ad-free solution and better handling of screen orientation. This app locks to portrait all the time which is usually what I want. Directly supporting landscape videos would be ideal though. For that I need to switch to safari. You can do this with one tap but it would be ideal not to have to leave the app.
Can add a feature of focus the words in comments?
Hello, the app is awesome.
But I need a feature of focus the words in comments so that I can translate by Apple dictionary. Because I am learning English, often find some words which I don’t understand.
This feature maybe very helpful for the people like me and I think it will not be difficulty(I am a develop, too, but for web)
Thank you !
The best hacker feed - can you backup saved?
So good! Use it on a daily basis! Love the feature of saving articles.
Question. Is there a way to backup my saved posts? Either email them all to myself or upload to iCloud?? Last I want is to loose my favorite posts.
Developer Response ,
Thank you! Yes! Bookmarks are automatically synced to iCloud if you are on iOS 13.
