Leave your mark among millions of players in a persistent galaxy that constantly grows and evolves.

Hades’ Star is a unique online space strategy game. You are in control of a growing Empire, starting with a single planet in your own corner of space. Over time, you’ll expand to own multiple outposts, command a formidable fleet, research advanced technology, participate in diverse missions and manage relationships with other players in the game.

• Colonize numerous planets and watch them grow from lifeless rocks to central hubs of activity.
• Optimize trade routes, mine resources, explore new space and defend against the indigenous, mysterious alien space race
• Build combat, mining and trade ships and customize them with powerful modules
• Establish diplomatic relations with other players and dictate your rules for economic and military cooperation
• Work with other players in dangerous Red Stars and retrieve resources before the star goes Supernova
• Compete for rewards in the intense, rapidly collapsing Blue stars
• Organize with other players in Corporations and participate in highly strategic White Star missions
• Play and grow at your own pace: Nobody will unfairly steal your resources while you are offline

Update - Long term game NOT designed for Payers

I have been looking for a longterm game as I have gotten fed up with PVZ2, and EA’s constant need to push you towards in-app purchases. Yes, I realize Popcap is still running that game. Regardless, Hades’ Star is a breath of fresh air. It is challenging, and it never pushes you towards purchases. In fact, they make it difficult to almost impossible to speed up the game. I have actually spent money with them just as a type of developer fee, and hopefully others will do the same. Solid, structured game play that you can easily do in your down time and still have a life. Unless they change the game play, I will be here for the next few years (if not longer).

Update - I have been playing this game for several months now, and if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. I can’t remember what an in game Ad looks like. There is zero push to spend money. I have been one to almost never spend money on phone games, yet, when not pushed and the game is worthwhile, I spend money. Basically, I want to keep the developers happy and creating updates. Great game with long term play style. You can merely PVE or PVP or both (has a little for everyone). There is not a single currency in the game that you can not find in the game (ie, you NEVER have to pay to play). Hope you give it a shot!

Love this game

Fun space empire building game. Starts kinda slow but gets huge, deep. Challenges your mind. Colonize planets discovered in your star system. Build mining, transport, and battleships. There’s tons of tech to be discovered. Everything can be upgraded. Go on 3 types of missions. Red Stars are pve, single or multiplayer coop missions for artifacts which you need to unlock and upgrade tech. Blue Stars are short, pvp “last man standing” missions rewarding valuable resources. White Stars are epic 5v5 up to 20v20 5day slow paced events where 2 corporations duke it out for resources in one big star system. These missions are all about strategy, no PTW, which is important to me. I can’t stand the new ptw, in game purchase model that plagues games these days. You can get really creative using all the different tech you discover. Running shipments while trying to use the least amount of fuel is a fun challenge. The modules you can deck your ships out with offer plenty of strategy to figure out and employ. Your home is always safe, this game is not about attacking and taking others resources. It’s about slowly growing huge, efficient, smart, and powerful, in a great supportive gaming galaxy, especially enjoyed if you join a corporation. Word.

Great Game

I didn’t want to write a review until I’d invested enough time into it, and I’m now level 42, so I figured that’s probably enough. The game is insanely fun when you first pick it up, but starts to get boring around level 20-30. Don’t let that ruin it for you though, if you push through, once you get to around 35-40, the content picks back up again and from what my corporation has said, it doesn’t slow down again from there. The game is extremely rewarding, but don’t expect to get your reward right off the bat. You can’t play for more than 20 minutes at any given time unless you’re running Red star missions, which admittedly you can just continue doing and they’re very fun. So it’s less of an active game, but it’s also not passive because when it comes to gameplay, when it rains, it pours. It’s fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something to put some time into while also not expecting to just pour hours in at the beginning.
