Couriers deliver to the wrong door more often than anyone admits. Handback helps neighbors return those packages privately, without either person exposing personal details. FOUND A PACKAGE THAT ISN'T YOURS? Photograph the shipping label and package. Handback reads the delivery details and privately matches the parcel to a verified neighbor. You never learn who they are, and they never learn who you are. No account is needed to help return a package. MISSING ONE OF YOUR OWN? Create an account, add your home address, and verify it. If a neighbor reports a package addressed to you, it appears in your inbox and Handback can notify you. HAND IT OVER SAFELY The finder proposes a public drop spot or porch pickup and a time window. The recipient receives a private pickup code, and both people confirm when the return is complete. SHARE HANDBACK Share Handback from Home or Account through Messages, WhatsApp, Facebook, or another installed app. A finder can also share a private package link. The link opens the package in Handback when installed and otherwise directs the neighbor to the correct app store. TRUST & SECURITY • Names and addresses are never searchable. • Only a verified recipient can claim a matched package. • The recipient proves ownership using details from their own order. • Package photos stay private until a claim is approved. • Review signed-in devices and end sessions you no longer recognize. • Use a passkey when supported. • Either person can report or block the other. • USPS mail is refused and directed back to USPS. ACCOUNT CONTROLS Account includes home address and names, Trust Center, passkeys, signed-in devices, Help & Support with FAQs, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, sharing, sign out, and account deletion. OPTIONAL SUPPORT After a completed return, you may leave an optional one-time tip through the App Store. Tips do not unlock features, create a subscription, or pay the person returning a package. Handback has no ads and does not sell personal information. Names, addresses, package images, device information, and purchase records are handled as described in our privacy policy.
