You are in control. Simple, free, powerful, fast - unlimited, full resolution. Including LivePhoto export & reimport, EXIF, export/import roundtrip, OneDrive native.
Happy Photo Exporter provides a nice and simple solution for backup, export or sync of your image data.
Universal App (iPhone, iPad; also Mac Version available).
SELECT all photos, videos, favourites
CHOOSE your target folder location. Folder can be a connected USB hard drive (if connected via USB-C or Apple camera kit), or local folder on your device, or any iCloud or other connected Cloud File Storage.
EXPORT all data in one go, with easy restart and smart incremental data transfer handling (the app detects if files are already on target and skips duplicates).
IMPORT the image files with App (rebuilding Live Photos, rebuilding images with edits, again avoiding duplicates) or copy them to other device. File format compatible to macOS, Windows and Linux.
Promise: Your data remains private - no ads, no hidden data transfers, no user data collection.
Enjoy! And happy to get your feedback.
I was able to export my entire 64gb photo library to USB. Just note that you cannot switch away from the app while it is working – Apple doesn’t allow background applications to save photos.
Developer Response
Thank you for your feedback. The limitation in background mode is enforced by iOS and the app can't change that. In V1.31, I added a notification to the user when the App is switching to the background - as a reminder to switch back. Hope that helps!
Works perfectly ever, maybe the best.

What does it mean if it says 38 processed with 26 errors, exporting to USB stick? Worried that I’m going to lose my photos since I asked to delete after export
Developer Response
Hi Brian! First: Your photos should be safe. Three safeguards are in place when choosing "delete after export": 1. The App verifies that the photo's export files are on target disk (with size > 0) before marking the image for deletion. If the export throws an error, typically the files are not written and thus nothing gets deleted. 2. All Photos marked for deletion get deleted not before additional final confirmation of you - the deletion confirmation dialog appears after export; if unsure, do not confirm. 3. Even if images are confirmed and thus deleted: all deleted images are kept in your "deleted images" album for 30 days. You can view, select and undelete them with your System Photos App.Second: On the errors. If the target device is full or faulty, errors may occur. Not sure what caused the errors on your end without looking into details. Feel free to share some details or the latest export log file so that I can analyse further. My contact is in the app.Best regards,Oliver
Crashes within seconds
VTADorsett
Lots of promise but it crashes within seconds of starting the export. There’s no way to contact the developer and the website is just bogus.
Developer Response
Sorry to hear you had problems - not sure why, but versions 1.12-1.26 contained a couple of bugfixes though - I have improved contact and bug reporting options in updated version, and some maintenance has been applied. Let me know if there is still a problem - if yes please use new integrated bug reporting or contact functionality. Thank you for your feedback, and take care!
New Features:
* Metadatafiles configuration option (store next to image file, store in subfolder, don't store)
* Improved stability on video export and import (fixing a crash if the OS was deleting a local video file while export or import)
