Description

Do you want to form new habits and track your progress? Haptic is an ideal helper for monitoring actions and habit formation. Keep track of your actions, record your feelings and thoughts, make new habits and become a better person!

Life is defined by the actions we make. Everything matters – the books you read, the kilometers you ran and even every glass you drank early in the morning. Actions form us so it’s important to keep control of them and start good habits based on your actions.

Together with Haptic you can:
- pick categories of habits (reading books, listening to podcasts, watching movies and series, doing sport), make new actions and record your daily ones in different categories to form habits.
- become more disciplined and analyze which actions your life consists of.
- record your progress and feelings of sticking to good habits and eliminating the unhealthy ones.

How does Haptic work?
Research shows that after a number of attempts people still fail to form a new habit. Our app will help you stay on track thanks to action tracking, recording your feelings and thoughts and accurate action statistics for different periods of time.

Benefits:
- Minimalistic, trendy and nice interface.
- Unconditional confidentiality. All the added information is stored on your device only.
- No advertising or any other unnecessary notifications.
- Convenient integration in Apple Health, Apple Music, Spotify apps.

Free and premium accounts
You can use Haptic for free. You will need a subscription to create more than 5 user categories, access to extended statistics and unique app icons (to your mood, weather and wallpapers).

No Dark Mode

This is a fantastic app! The only thing stopping me from subscribing for the yearly subscription however is the fact that there’s no dark mode. It might not be a drawback to you but for me it’s the only issue with this wonderful app.

Amazing Potential, Unfortunately Abandoned

I recently heard about Haptic while reading an interview of a friend of the developer. “Action based journaling” sounded interesting, so I decided to try it.

Haptic has some wonderful design choices and a refreshing minimalist concept. Logging new actions is a breeze, and fun little touches (such as searching online for video game titles and cover art when you want to log a game being played) are hidden throughout. It is a joy to use, and the ease of logging makes me actually want to stick with the app long term.

Unfortunately, this app has been abandoned by the developer. The last update was over 1 year ago. Attempt to email the contact address on the website bounced because the inbox no longer exists. Social media posts stopped over 1 year ago (and the accounts don’t respond to direct messages).

It’s very unfortunate that this journal never took off. It provides a delightful experience that is lacking in so many modern apps.
