Every phase change arrives as its own tap on your wrist, a different one each time. No beep, no chime, no audio code path at all. For gym floors, clinics, shared rooms. A beep is fine at home. It is not fine on a gym floor at six in the morning, in a physiotherapy room, in a shared bedroom, or in an open-plan office. HapticRound is an interval timer for Apple Watch that never makes a sound, because there is no sound to make. The app has no audio code path at all. Every phase change arrives as a tap on your wrist instead, and each phase gets a different one, so you feel which phase you are now in rather than only that something changed. A DIFFERENT TAP FOR EACH PHASE Prepare, work, rest, done. Four boundaries, four distinct taps from the watch's own haptic vocabulary. One buzz is not the same as the next, so you can keep your eyes on what you are doing. BUILT ON THE WATCH Two to six phases, each with a name and a duration, set with the Digital Crown. There is no phone app to configure first, because there is no phone app. KEEPS RUNNING WITH YOUR WRIST DOWN Lower your arm and the screen dims. The routine keeps running and the taps keep arriving, for a routine of up to an hour. STILL READABLE WHILE DIMMED The Always-On display keeps the phase name and the time remaining on screen while your wrist is down, so what you can see always agrees with what you just felt. SILENT IS THE PRODUCT, NOT A SETTING There is no mute switch, because there is nothing to mute. Every other interval timer is sound-first and offers to be silenced, and silencing it takes the phase information with it: one vibration is the same as the next. This app starts from the other end. THE SAME APP WITHOUT HEARING If you are deaf or hard of hearing, a muted timer is not an accessible timer. It is a timer with its information removed. Here the silent version is the whole product. Phase identity travels on three independent channels at once, the tap, the name and a distinct symbol, and colour is a fourth that is never the only one. NOTHING LEAVES THE WATCH No account, no sign-in, no cloud, no ads, no analytics, and no network request of any kind. Your routines are stored on your watch and nowhere else. 39 LANGUAGES The interface follows your watch's language setting, with durations and counts formatted by the system for your locale. ACCESSIBILITY VoiceOver reads every control and every number the app exists to show. Dynamic Type is supported to AX3, the largest size watchOS offers. Reduce Motion is respected. HAPTICROUND UNLOCK (optional) The app is free and times a complete routine: one saved routine of up to four phases, with all four boundary taps. The unlock is a one-time purchase and not a subscription. - HapticRound Unlock, US$2.99, one time It adds unlimited saved routines, up to six phases in a routine, and a choice from the app's wider haptic palette for each phase.
