Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA) has launched the StopFalls Campaign, fully funded by Hertfordshire County Council (HCC), with the aim of reducing falls across the county with the use of exercises, assessments and prevention techniques. In this application you will find exercise ideas, falls risk factors and assessments on falls risks.

What’s New

Version 2.3

The HCPA StopFalls app has been updated with new resources and information reflecting the latest research and guidance in Falls Prevention.

NEW RISK FACTORS have been added! The first stage in identifying somebody’s falls risk is being aware of the risk factors. The more risk factors that individuals may have the greater risk of them falling, especially as falls can also be a sign of underlying health issues.

Visit the app to see the updated changes on:
NEW risk factor added Parkinson’s Disease with intervention strategies to reduce risk of falls.
NEW risk factor added for Stroke
NEW risk factor added for Osteoarthritis
