To use the Henrico FCU Digital Banking app, you must be enrolled as a Henrico FCU digital banking user. If you currently use our Internet Banking, simply download the app, launch it, and login with the same Internet Banking credentials.

This mobile deposit option has been a great way to handle things during this pandemic. It is very easy to use and saves time from visiting a site or ATM to complete transactions.
It’s a work in progress
This app is not quite as helpful as it could be for everyday use. The main issue for us is that you cannot see your statement for each account from previous months or any transactions other than a few recent days. There is nowhere to enter a date range if you’re looking for a specific transaction. You also must click through a few places to see an overall view of all your accounts instead of having a summary on the first page. It looks more modern and has some promising features but is still a work in progress. It is frustrating not being able to see as much info as before.
Verification methods are not customer friendly
This new update on the HFCU website as well as the new app is not helpful to military members. I’m currently deployed and can’t receive SMS messages, only iMessages. For the HFCU app and also the Authy app used for verification, members have to be able to receive SMS in order to get into their account. So if you deploy and turn your phone off to save money or don’t have an international phone you essentially can’t get into your account. Possibly for the next 6 months to a year, I won’t be able to get into my account due to this update. What’s the point of asking for an email address if you can’t use it as a means of user verification? 2 thumbs down. Might have to switch banks because of this.
