Has potential
This app works as advertised BUT it does not work on the Apple Watch alone with Cellular Data turned on. It only works if the iPhone is nearby. That means I have to carry the iPhone with me which defeats the purpose of having an Apple Watch with cellular service. Wonder if the creator can fix this.
Handy and Easy
Pretty accurate, simple UI, and great addition to my iPhone. I only wish it had a landscape view on rotation on my iPad.
Good for simple navigation
Not only is this app great for telling you where you are, but if you turn it on in the car, you can watch the address change down below as you move from place to place. At a minimum, it responds with the name of the street you're on. Sometimes, it even picks up the address of the house or business next to you. My only wish is that the address where a bit larger and easier to read from a distance. It's not turn by turn directions, mind you, but I don't need that most of the time. It's just nice to have the address feature close at hand like this.
BYW, have you discovered the little blue icon in the lower right of the map window? If not, try tapping on it and see what happens. Yep, everything disappears except the map and you're in full map view tracking your little blue dot wherever you're going.
I can tell I'm going to have a lot of fun with this. Thanks!
