HitDex is a collector's app, built by a collector, to keep track of what you own, what you're missing and what it's worth. The whole catalogue ships inside the app: 174 sets and 20,479 cards, with name, collector number, rarity, artist and type. It draws instantly and works in airplane mode. You only need a connection to download card art and to refresh prices. WHAT IT DOES • Your collection. Add cards from any set, with how many copies you own and in which language. Inside a set you can show only what you own or only what you're missing, and sort by number, price or rarity. • Camera scanner. Point at the card: HitDex reads the collector number, identifies the card and adds it with a coin sound. A reading only counts once it repeats across several frames, and when a number matches more than one card it asks instead of guessing. • Prices in euros. The catalogue price is the Cardmarket trend, served by TCGdex, with each card's real finish variants (normal, reverse, holo, cosmos, gold…). It is cached for 24 hours: a reference price, not a live quote. When there is no public price the app says so instead of showing €0.00, and on Japanese, Korean and Chinese editions you can type your own. • Portfolio. Total value, a card-by-card breakdown and value over 7D, 1M, 6M and 1Y. The history is real: it is built from the day you install the app, never backfilled with invented data. • AI Grading. Photograph a card and the on-device engine measures centering, corners, edges and surface with Apple's Vision framework, returning subgrades and an estimated score on the 10-point scale. It is an indicative pre-grade to help you decide whether a card is worth sending off: it is not an official grade and does not replace any grading company. For a qualitative second opinion you can add your own Anthropic API key; with no key, everything stays on the device. • SimRip. A pack-opening simulator with the odds on screen before every pack, calibrated against the measurements published by the TCGplayer Authentication Center for the eras that have them (and labelled as an approximation where they don't). No money, no wagering, no prizes: the cards it pulls are not added to your collection and are worth nothing. It exists to show you up close how unlikely a hit is. • Graded cards. Reference prices raw and graded (PSA 10, 9, 8) with the multiplier, with nothing to configure. They come from closed eBay sales, in US dollars and labelled as such: the app does not convert currencies. • Offline. From a set's menu you can download all of its art. It tells you how much space it will take before it starts and, when it finishes, whether everything was saved, only part of it, or nothing. • Search by name, artist or collector number across the sets you have already opened. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no in-app purchases. Your collection and your grading reports stay on your iPhone. Interface in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. Card and set names come from the catalogue in English. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM Sets and cards come from the public pokemontcg.io and TCGdex APIs. Catalogue prices are the Cardmarket trend served by TCGdex, in euros, cached for 24 hours. Graded card prices come from closed eBay sales, in US dollars, served by HitDex's own service, which the app only ever sends a card identifier to. Grading photos are analysed on the device and only leave it if you configure your own Anthropic API key. NOTICE HitDex is an independent app for collectors.
