Holafly has horrible wait times (What’s App) for support.
My initial review was good but since then things have gone to pooor): Doing as Asia trip and bought unlimited Japan eSIM plus Asia region unlimited eSIM and just did a top off. Everytime I had any questions I reached out for help via the app and was immediately take care of (even their AI help assistant asks the right questions, no issues). Response are timely, complete with I formation and they want to co firm you were successful. Service in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand has been 98% 5G and LTE right now as I am in the middle of Thailand - I am pleased). Final feedback: I have needed help two more times and have waited in excess of 30 minutes to get someone. This can’t be a fluke, their agents must be swamped trying
To help others. I can not in good conscious use Holafly again.

HOLAFLY IS AWESOME!
This is my first time using an eSIM card for phone service in Europe. I am not very tech savvy, and was very confused on how it works. Luckily HOLAFLY MADE IT SIMPLE! I initially was confused and contacting them in a chat to make sure I was on the right track. They had great patience with me at all times. It was so simple and too good to be true, so I thought. I finally calmed down after speaking with Viviana. She was very helpful. I could see that all was working great and easy! This is such a great service, and I am very happy that I purchased a plan. It’s definitely a five star winner!!! And thank you to Viviana for her patience and service.
YOU NEED TO UNLOCK YOUR PHONE FIRST
I’m sure if your phone is unlocked from your service provider, this will be an excellent option. BUT…if your phone is not unlocked from your service provider, you will not be able to use this service! I was not aware of this and I am already overseas. This made it extremely difficult to contact my provider to see what I can do to unlock my phone. In my case, I have to pay off my phone completely in order to unlock my device from the carrier. I am currently waiting on Holifly customer support to get back to me to get a refund as I am unable to use their service. The only way to contact customer support is through WhatsApp or Email. It is taking a long time for them to respond. I hope this issue can be resolved shortly.
