Hooked monitors your boat's position to ensure you are within a certain radius of your anchor. If the distance exceeds the set limit, it sounds an alarm.

This is the only anchor alarm that delivers the same fast and reliable experience locally and remotely without draining your device’s battery as you explore the shore.

- View your boat's track around your anchor, varying in color to make identifying the more recent points easier
- Cancel, resume or repeat an anchor session locally or remotely
- View previous sessions and history
- Customize units (distance and coordinates) and track appearance
- Sync between devices and remotely monitor (requires 2 devices running Hooked)
- Share with family/friends to monitor from their device
- Connects to NMEA devices (chartplotters, Peplink routers, etc.) for more precise GPS location (for example if using a WiFi-only device onboard)
- Leverage your chart plotter to remotely view depth and wind speed
- Ignores GPS locations with low accuracy to reduce false alarms
- Allows you to test and set the alarm volume

Best Anchor Alarm - Provides Peace Of Mind

I’ve tried other anchor alarm apps that don’t provide the accuracy nor the visibility Hooked provides. I love being able to see near real time visibility of our position (within GPS accuracy of ± 15 feet)! Additionally, we are able to remotely monitor our boat without worry and without significant battery drain. Before using Hooked we never felt comfortable leaving the boat even for short trips. We also felt that we needed to sleep in shifts when winds picked up - which has been often this season! Hooked has given us a peace of mind we needed. It has been invaluable in alleviating stress while at anchor. We absolutely love Hooked!

Best App for Remote Viewing

Finding an anchor app that allowed remote viewing without draining my phone's battery was impossible before this app.

The ability to view it remotely exactly like it is shown locally is key, and the device that's monitoring doesn't have to constantly run the app and drain my battery.

Also, I really love the color gradient on the tracks which shows you the history of where you're track has been.

Revised review on Hooked Premium

I gave a poor earlier review on Hooked Premium because of a bug that caused it to read an incorrect longitude value from our PredictWind Data Hub, and this caused the app to crash.

I finally figured out how to contact the developer and filed a bug report, and they had a fixed version ready within 12 hours.

It now seems to work perfectly and I’m now happy with the product!
