Case and possession in Learn now show you the rule for the form you are about to practise, the way the verb forms already did. Tapping a shared word or list link now opens it in the app, and every tab keeps its own place. A large accuracy pass across the grammar engine: the imperative keeps its j, the present and the conditional take their linking vowels, stems that drop or restore a vowel are handled properly, and the possessive picks between e and ö by the word. Around fifty words were re-tagged to the right part of speech, alongside a fresh vocabulary audit. Dictionary browse now tells you when the dictionary failed to load instead of spinning forever, and Word Detail no longer drops a word's other senses.

Learn now varies the kind of exercise through a lesson, rather than asking the same kind of question several times in a row. Grammar in Learn takes one verb form at a time and shows you the rule for that form before the drill. Fixed a daily lesson that could get stuck with nothing to tap when there were too few words left to build a multiple-choice question.

This release adds Translate Text, a new tool in the Reference menu. Type or paste English or Hungarian into either pane, and translate it the other way with a single tap, for anything the dictionary doesn't cover. You'll also get a heads-up right inside the app whenever a newer version is available on the App Store, with a button to update in a single tap.

Learn is our new daily study companion. Each day it builds a short lesson of new vocabulary and grammar, blended with review, sized to a pace you pick, with an optional daily reminder to keep your streak going. Lookup brings the dictionary and the conjugator together. Search any word or verb and you get one complete entry: its meaning, its word family, real example sentences, and, for verbs, the full conjugation table, all on one screen. Share a word or phrase with anyone as a link. A new Grammar section covers noun-forming suffixes, the endings like -ság and -ség or -ó and -ő that build nouns from other words, with sample nouns, example sentences, and a drill. Also in this release: A one-time age check reveals potentially vulgar or offensive definitions for anyone 16 or older. Open an inflected or possessive form and it now tells you which word it is a form of, with that base word one tap away, instead of repeating the base word's full definition. Searching a word that is not a verb in Lookup now points you to its dictionary entry, instead of building a conjugation for a word that has none. However you reach a word, from your vocabulary or by tapping it inside another entry, you now get the same complete entry as the dictionary. Looking up a common irregular verb like eszik (to eat) or iszik (to drink) now lands on the right entry. Vocabulary sets with a natural order, the seasons and the personal pronouns, now keep that order instead of being alphabetised.

Version 2.3.0 turns the dictionary into a browsable web of words: tap any related word, synonym, or antonym to jump straight to its full entry, and look up any word inside an example sentence without losing your place. Words now show where they come from, breaking each one down into the parts it is built from. Nouns and adjectives show full Forms tables covering every gender and number, and there are new grammar topics for the subjunctive, fused prepositions, pronoun placement, and the progressive. Read-aloud now prefers the highest quality European Portuguese voices you have installed.

Hungarian Quick Reference is now on Apple TV — study on the big screen, with the whole app adapted for the remote. You can now reach us right inside the app: send a bug report or idea from Feedback and see the developer's replies in a threaded conversation, and search the Community Q&A as you type. We've added practice drills to more grammar sections and given flashcards a cleaner look that follows light and dark mode.
