Description

The Honeywell Video Management Viewer (HVMV) App is a tool for customer to manage 30 series NVR and the cameras connected to the NVR from mobile devices including on Ipad®, iPod® and iPhone®. Connection is ensured through LAN/IP and also global P2P service. The communication between HVMV and NVR is encrypted.
With HVMV, users can monitor live view, playback video recording, change live view layouts, conduct fisheye camera de-warping and PTZ control.

Okay, not great

At first the app worked okay, but after an update it crashed. Had to uninstall and reinstall, but the new app asked for an “Authkey” to connect which it did not before. The support manuals do not show this or provide details so I can no longer connect from my phone.

Also, going back to search recorded video is a nightmare. Wish it worked more like the ring camera I have at home.

Just stops working after the latest update!

Hickvision is way way way easier and much much cheaper. The only reason I went with Honeywell was cause they aren’t made in China. But since they don’t work I’m going with Hickvision for now on. So much more reliable
