Love the hotels, the reservation system, not so much
The hotel selection is great within the Iprefer realm that I’ve stayed at. The technology, not so much. The site often takes forever to cycle through to each pages. Doesn’t keep you consistently logged in through the process so you have to log in several times. When you try to book through iPrefer be sure that it doesn’t redirect you to the hotels main page. Customer service through iPrefer is helpful. Hotel staff at NOMO are not. Called twice and got hung up on. The customer service at iPrefer could not get through to them either.
Crashes on launch every time
Except the first time where it shows you a splash screen what it can do but then when you go to sign in it’s gone and every time you open it it just disappears from the screen.
It’s embarrassing for a hotel chain that positions itself in the luxury space to have such a ridiculous app, better they have none at all.
Plus the only reason I download the app if you literally can’t find your reservations when you log into your “I prefer” account. You have to Google how to manage and preferred hotels reservation and then somehow it will find your list of reservations. It’s the stupidest worst implementation of technology I think I have ever seen.
Good Luck Getting Points
I stay with Preferred close to once a month for a week at a time. Every time upon check in, I’ve asked them to confirm that my iPrefer account is listed on my reservation. Every time it’s been confirmed, only to find out that it was in fact not. After following up with customer service, I was told that it was not possible to add my previous stats to my profile and that I should start confirming my account upon check-in. I’ve had this circular discussion over 5 times in 2019. I’m most likely going to stop staying with them.
