Pretty design and usability
I like the design of this verify app, it’s straightforward. Only think I’d change is move the add account button to the bottom as iPhone X users have trouble hitting it.
Better than Google Authenticator!
I used this app to connect my Github and Slack accounts with 2FA. It was fast and painless. Look forward to adding more accounts to this.
Not much in terms of instructions
I loaded the app and tried to follow the instructions. The first step is to “connect an account”. Which accounts do I connect? I have no QR code on my computer or phone. If no QR code, enter manually: company and account name, account code, then check whether it is “time based or not”.
I don’t know which accounts, the name of the company, name of account, account code or whether or not it is “time based”.
I downloaded this app because I thought it might help with my applying for unemployed insurance; and there is a mistake in my basic info, my driver’s licence is wrong in the Stated database which means I can go mo further in registering.
The online and phone systems are overwhelmed. It is not possible to get through to a person to fix the issue, but after 10 days of trying I’m ready to give up!
Is this app even useful in this situation? I don’t need to waste more time! Thanks for any help!

Hi Kattt826, if you're an IBM'er or have been asked to use IBM Verify by your organisation. Please contact IBM or your organisations help desk. Here is the link to the IBM Verify User Guide:
If you are looking to use IBM Verify as 2-factor authentication utility or a replacement for Google Authenticator, then "connect an account" requires that you scan a QR code which will contain the one-time passcode information or enter the information manually. You can use this web site to try it out:
Simply enter an account name, can be anything you like. Select if you want to use a counter or time based generator. IBM Verify will only generate passcodes that are either 6 or 8 digit in length. Now scan the QR code image with IBM Verify.
