Location sensitivity is terrible
I tried to use this app in Marathon, FL at two locations. It barely worked at one and never worked at the other. I also tried it on Summerland Key, FL with the same disappointing result. When standing as close to the machine as possible, I get a “cannot vend” message telling me to move closer. When I look at where the app thinks I am it shows that I’m over 1/4 mile away. Google Maps showed a correct location as did Find My IPhone. Now I’m stuck with a balance on my account because there are no machine near where I live.
What a great thing to have !
I used this for the first time, in Wichita Kansas, last night and had absolutely no issues with it. I got my free bag of ice, loaded funds to my account for future reference and it provided me locations in town. Once I got there and clicked the I’m here, it connected to the machine and I got my ice within a few seconds of being there. Not sure how this rating is as low as it is- maybe when there are a lot of them in a large town- not sure but I had the best expected experience possible.

- super affordable! $2 for 16 lbs and $3 for 20!?!! Yes pls!
Best App ever
Downloaded the app here in South Carolina after the recent hurricane after wasting gas driving around looking for ice. App not only told me where machines were but also if they had ice. Was able to find a machine but it was not taking cash bunch of people standing around or trying to force cash into the machine. Added money to the app and was able to get the ice I needed. Showed everyone how to download install and get an account. Not bad for a 73 year old 😂
