As Taiwan’s first museum of modern and contemporary art, Taipei Fine Arts Museum promotes the preservation, research, development and popularization of art, maintaining art history assets with the aim of constructing public memory. In addition to organizing a variety of modern and contemporary art exhibitions, TFAM also spearheads such flagship exhibitions as the Taipei Biennial and the Taiwan Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, expanding the cultural vision of Taiwan’s capital city, as well as its international visibility. TFAM App provides exhibition tour services, and an Interactive Experience that lets everyone explore the museum premises on their own. * To use the Interactive Experience app, Bluetooth and GPS location functions must be enabled when inside the museum. * The app uses Bluetooth and GPS location functions and may noticeably reduce the power supply of your smartphone.

App doesn't work in english

So far, the app does not work (i.e. attempts to load then immediately closes itself) when chosen to show the information in english. I am using the app in chinese and manually translating everything in english on google translate so far. Would love for english audiences to also get more information on the pieces presented.

Useless and pretentious

A lazy app, mainly consisting of very dense blocks of turgid, pretentious text and general info that you could just as easily pull from Google maps. This is a curator's vanity project, not a useful app for the public.
